防衛省では、自衛隊員の活躍の様子を広く海外へ情報発信するため英語による動画を配信しております。
自衛隊音楽まつりは、自衛隊記念日行事の一環として、毎年１１月頃に開催される自衛隊最大の音楽イベントです。
２０１５年は音楽まつり始まって以来初の在日米軍４軍種の音楽隊が参加しました。
また、外国から韓国海軍が参加し、過去最大の５つのゲストバンドが競演しました。

２０１５年度のテーマは「道　ＲＯＡＤ」。戦後７０年の節目を通過点と捉え、
これまで歩んできた平和国家としての道筋を確認し、
日米韓が手に手をとってその道をさらに前に進めていくという想いが込められています。

The SDF Marching Festival is the SDF’s largest music
event held annually around November as part of the SDF Day commemoration.
In 2015, it was the first time that bands from all four services of the U.S. Forces Japan
participated in the Festival.
In addition, the Republic of Korea Navy Band took part as an overseas guest band.
Hence, the largest-ever five guest bands performed at the Festival.

The Festival in 2015 has been memorable with the theme “ROAD.”
The Year 2015 is a transit point marking the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII.
We confirm our path, which has been taken up until now, as a peace-loving nation.
The theme was selected in the hope that Japan, the U.S. and the ROK,
will go forward hand in hand with our path more and more in the future.
